Turkey hunting has been pretty poor the past 2 days. It’s been cold, raining and windy with temps in the mid to low 30s with windchills in the 20s.
I saw 7 hens running across the hay field in front of me yesterday and have only heard 2 toms gobbling, one yesterday afternoon and one this morning. I wasn’t able to call them in. I think they were already with hens.
