Some nights here in Otter Creek don’t need stars to be interesting.
Last night was one of those. Fog was thick and low. Snow covered the ground, soaking up what little sound there was.

Out here in Otter Creek, this is normal. No traffic. No streetlights lining the road. Just one light, some fog, snow and the woods doing what they’ve always done.
Nights like this remind me why I live where I do. It’s quiet, simple, and real. Even when the sky is hidden, there’s still something worth stopping for.
Sometimes all it takes is fog, snow, and a single light.
