February doesn’t ask much — just patience even though it’s hard to wait with spring so close.
In February, the days are short. The nights are long. The cold settles in and stays. By February winter isn’t new or exciting anymore. It’s familiar.
But in February, a campfire is just what’s needed.
Out here, in front of a fire, conflicts ease. And maybe that’s the point. In a month that feels frozen, a campfire becomes more than heat — it becomes a pause.
For now, this fire is enough.
