On a crisp November night in Otter Creek, the moon plays hide and seek behind the clouds. Experience the quiet glow of rural life and find beauty in the fading light of autumn.

About the Ottercreek Redneck

First off, I don’t really fit the stereotype most people picture when they hear the word redneck. I’m just a guy living in rural Otter Creek Township in northwest Wisconsin.

Why do I live here? Simple. There’s a dirt road about 100 feet from my driveway. My nearest neighbor is a quarter mile away. I can walk north out my back door and not cross a road for four miles. That kind of space makes me happy.

I deer hunt. I turkey hunt. I fish. I garden. I ride horses. I watch nature. I fix things when they break down.

And then I turn around and head to a high-tech job in town… and my deer stand has Wi-Fi.

That’s Otter Creek living in a nutshell.
