It’s been really frickin’ cold here in Otter Creek. We had lows in the minus 30+ below zero and wind chills pushing minus 60 below zero. Look below and you’ll see that we almost ran out of thermometer!
I can only remember once many years ago when me and some friends were ice fishing on Lake Winnebago and the wind chill was -60 below zero. That was the day I set the back seat of my car on fire trying to start a gas heater to warm up!
I’ve had to plug the block heater in to make sure my truck would start in the morning and even still it was very hard to start.
But at least it’s not as bad as the winter of 1982 – this is our driveway after a January blizzard!
