We’ve had a few impressive thunderstorms so far this summer here in Otter Creek, but this one was particularly photogenic.
This storm was different from most thunderstorms because it was moving straight south – this photo is looking north from our backyard. As the gust front came in the wind picked up to about 30 miles per hour. Also the clouds were very low – just over the tops of the ridge – look on the far left of the photo and you can see just how close the clouds are.
